BLAZE the Dog needs a home
Blaze is a 4-5 year old, Black Lab mix with a handsome white blaze running down his neck. His fur is soft and shiny and he loves to be hugged and snuggled. Blaze was found as a stray and is now in a foster home living with a family and multiple dogs. He is a very loyal companion and would be great for a single person or couple. He walks well on leash, will ride with you in the car, sleep with you at night and cuddle up on the couch for movie time. He will also be your protector and no one will enter the house without you knowing. Please don’t write him off because of his devotion. Blaze needs an owner who will understand him; he is a social dog but is protective of his person. He is the kind of dog that becomes anxious when people are rowdy and loud and will need training in this area. Blaze is friendly and devoted and loves to play with other dogs, however he does play rough and will need a strong dog be his equal. He needs to learn how to play softer and will because he listens to correction and is learning that mouthing to get attention isn’t acceptable. We suggest that an ideal adopter would be someone who can accept the challenge to train and tame his excitement somewhat. Blaze is a wonderful dog that will steal the heart of the person who invests time and attention to him.
